Summary

The Victorian Clinical governance policy framework is the Department of Health’s policy on clinical governance. This checklist is a tool to assist health service chief executives, senior managers and senior clinicians to review their safety and quality program against the elements of the policy. It may be used as a guide to the roles and responsibilities that chief executives, senior management and senior clinicians have in facilitating effective implementation of the policy.
